PARTICIPANT CHRONICLES

REFLECTIONS FROM THE FINAL WEEK

Over 100,000 people visited Marina Abramovic's "512 Hours" at the Serpentine Galleries in London. Each day, Abramovic opened the Gallery doors and greeted every visitor as they enter. Following the simple instructions they are given before entering, visitors divested themselves of their mobile phones, watches, and baggage and entered into a white gallery bare of anything aside from Marina herself and ten gallery assistants.

In collaboration with Serpentine Galleries, MAI presents an exclusive video to commemorate the end of this long durational performance. Click the image above to view reflections from visitors of "512 Hours."
